The Sport 2S development program began with the goal of producing the best side-by-side trainer ever. Pilots used to the docile and predictable flying qualities of the Quicksilver MX line of ultralight planes will be pleased with the Sport 2S. It provides the solid feel of a strut braced plane with the desirable flying characteristics that have made Quicksilvers so popular.

The MX II Sprint is ideal for the recreational flier and flight schools. Its high lift, single wings give it an exceptionally short take-off roll and predictable handling at very low flight speeds. These characteristics make the MX II Sprint easier to learn to fly than anything in its class.

The MX Sport was designed to enhance the envelope of your flying pleasure. Its sleek, shortspan double-surface wing with full-span ailerons and conventional three-axis controls give the MX Sport a faster roll rate, greater speed range and better crosswind capability.

We have taken note of the many suggestions and comments received by phone, mail and in the field. We combined this information with our own market research and designed the aircraft “you wanted.” The MX Sprint has extremely fast roll response and handles crosswinds easily with its conventional three-axis controls. Yet it retains the docile and predictable slow flight characteristics that made the original MX famous.
